This year more than doubled in size over the inaugural year. Duners from more than just the Wash 13.5 group showed up and word was getting out that something special was taking place to recognize our veterans. It was the first year that we had shirts made and each veteran in attendance received a framed photo of the veteran group at the flag pole. An open invitation pot luck was added to the festivities back at camp.

 

This particular event made it clear that the Veterans Day gathering must continue on. Plans were already underway for next years event before the last of the pot luck was cleaned up!
